The Milwaukee Bucks are in absolute freefall at the moment, and that proved to be true on Thursday night as they lost for the fifth time in a row to the Toronto Raptors. The 110-96 loss has them at 16-13 overall now and it meant that the Raptors are now just a single game (14-15) under .500. It’s been a hard slog for them, but some ‘relevance’ and momentum seems to be finally coming for them.
Norman Powell was the star for them in this encounter, scoring 29 points on a hot shooting night. Pascal Siakam contributed a further 27 to the cause, while Giannis had 23 on an evening in which he made just eight of 20 shots from the floor as well as just seven out of 13 free throws. He did have 12 rebounds and nearly a triple-double (with eight assists), but it was not nearly enough as the Bucks continued to struggle, leaving many to question if they are truly a contender any longer.
