We all know, or should know by now, that Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions have decided to part ways. As such, a number of teams have inquired about landing the services of the veteran quarterback. One of them according to reports, is said to be the LA Rams. However, the path to obtaining him is not the easiest, as they would have to dump Jared Goff from an expensive, long-term contract.

Plus, they don’t have any draft picks for the first round in 2021, leaving it difficult to see how they could push it through. With that said, confidence in Goff is at an all-time low, shown by recent Sean McVay comments, prompting rumors like these to fester even more.
