The New York Knicks, in case you have missed it, are in serious need of repair. They have been in need of said repairs for a very, very long time now. And that is the job of new-ish President Leon Rose. His job is to somehow rebuild them into a relevant force again, and to do that, he needs a coach. Someone with patience as well as sheer brilliance.
In an interview on Wednesday he said that he hoped he would be able to name the new coach by the end of July, claiming they were “looking at a lot of different people with different mindsets” in order to choose the path to go down. Those rumored with the position include Jason Kidd, Tom Thibodeau, and Kenny Atkinson, among others.
