Saints, Kamara Rush Past Vikings

We typically do not get to see any NFL action on Christmas day itself, but we got a rare treat this year as the New Orleans Saints took on the Minnesota Vikings. The game was fairly close for a while, but in reality, the Saints were always in control of it. They scored 17 of the first 24 points and held a ten-point edge going into halftime.

They kept the pedal down in the second half in order to crush the Vikings ruthlessly by a 52-33 score line. Alvin Kamara, despite seeing quarterback Drew Brees throw for two interceptions and no touchdowns, had six, yes six, rushing touchdowns on the day. He totaled 155 yards on the ground as well on 22 carries, showing that the now 11-4 Saints are capable of winning various ways and remain a threat come the postseason. The loss dropped the Vikings to 6-9 and further underlined what has been a disappointing season for them.
