Sports Stars Who Committed The Worst Crimes

1. Rae Carruth

Rae Carruth is a former wide receiver of the Carolina Panthers. In 2001, he was convicted of conspiring to murder a pregnant woman who was carrying his child. Cherica Adams was 8 months pregnant with Carruth’s child and was shot 4 times in the stomach near his home.

Adams wasn’t dead and was able to call the police and explained that Carruth had drove in front of her to stop her while another man shot her. She fell into a coma at the hospital and died less than a month later.

Carruth fled and was eventually caught hiding in a trunk of a car with $3,900, a cell phone, candy bars and bottles of his own urine.
