The Tennessee Titans have just gotten themselves a whole lot better. Rumors had been swirling all weekend that the Atlanta Falcons would be shipping Julio Jones to them, and those came true as it was announced on Sunday. The Titans landed the wide receiver, Atlanta’s most prolific-ever, for a second-round draft pick in 2022 and a fourth-rounder in 2023.
The Titans also get a sixth-rounder from Atlanta for 2023 as part of the deal. This comes on the back of the Titans losing a couple of their options due to free agency and weeks of Jones posturing for a move out of the ATL so that he had a chance to be on a winning team. It’s a big move for the Titans following a disappointing season that ended with a first-round loss to the Baltimore Ravens in the playoffs. They will hope to improve on that and go a step further than they did in 2019, with Jones now in the fold.
