1st Down: On the diamond on Sunday, the day was highlighted by a couple of big-time walk-offs. The LA Angels rallied from 4-2 to win against Washington as Shohei Ohtani doubled in the tying runs before Anthony Rendon singled in Ohtani to win it 5-4. The San Diego Padres also walked it off as Jorge Alfaro hit a 449-foot three-run homer to beat the Miami Marlins 3-2.
2nd Down: On the (clay) tennis court, 19-year-old sensation Carlos Alcaraz claimed the Madrid Open by defeating defending champ Alexander Zverev in dominant fashion. The 6-3, 6-1 wins came off the backs of wins against Rafa Nadal and Novak Djokovic, and he has now won two tourneys in a row.

3rd Down: On the golf course, Max Homa was able to take home the crown in the Wells Fargo Championship at TPC Potomac on Sunday, beating a trio by two shots with an overall -8 score for the tournament. That makes him one of just five players to have won multiple titles on the PGA Tour this year and is his fourth overall.
4th Down: In the world of racing, the first-ever Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix took place on Sunday, and the victory went to last season’s champion Max Verstappen. In NASCAR, Joey Logano bumped William Byron out of the way on the next-to-last lap to win the Goodyear 400 at Darlington.
