Gio Reyna may just be 18 years of age, but the forward has already made a big impact on the game of soccer in the United States. And for a few more years, it appears, he will be continuing his development at Borussia Dortmund.
The American international signed a deal that will see him remain with the club until 2025, helping him bridge the gap into his prime years as so many other players have done and are currently doing with the team. He made his US senior debut last week against Wales, and he’s played 12 times for the German club since the year started. He has two goals and five assists in that time, which is good for virtually any player, let alone a teen just getting his feet wet.
