Birds of a feather are supposed to flock together. Many assumed that the Seattle Seahawks and the Atlanta Falcons would have a lot of similarities by now. But 2020 has shown that to be anything but true. The Seahawks now sit at 5-0 after five weeks of action while the Falcons are at 0-5.
The latter of which, obviously, saw head coach Dan Quinn fired by the Falcons on Sunday after they lost 23-16 to the Carolina Panthers. His former team, the Seahawks, got a big 27-26 win thanks to the clutch-ness of Russell Wilson. He found DK Metcalf (one of two receiving TD’s for the receiver) in the endzone for a diving catch on fourth down late in the fourth quarter to maintain his team’s perfect start. It was Wilson’s most subdued performance so far this season, but the win is all that will matter to him in the end.
